8 Nights, 9 Days
Day 01 | Arrival at Baffin Island
A private safari camp on frozen sea ice at the mouth of the Northwest Passage appointed to your specifications – the only one of it’s kind in the world. After a day out on the land watching polar bears, come back to your safari camp or lodge for some mouth-watering appetizers, followed by a sumptuous gourmet meal. Our culinary team prepares menus to showcase the best the Arctic has to offer. Combining a fusion of locally sourced delicacies such as Arctic char, turbot, caribou or musk ox, with specialty foods we source “down south”, we consider our meals to be comfort food gourmet with a dash of panache.
SCHEDULE
Arrive either via scheduled commercial airline service or via private jet to the Arctic in Iqaluit, NU (YFB). On clearing customs in Iqaluit (YFB), you will fly by private charter of an aircraft of your choosing to Pond Inlet (YIO) – a short 3 hours north to 72 degrees latitude.
From Pond Inlet, you will then fly once more 25 minutes with a turbo single otter and/or helicopter to your exclusive Arctic Kingdom Safari camp on sea ice at floe edge – top of Baffin Island, Canada. The only camp of its kind in the world. The camp location has never before been used for private use. This location has been used by Disney Nature ‘Oceans’, and most recently in 2015, by National Geographic to film ‘The Last Ice’.

Day 04 | Heli hiking – mountains and cliffs of Baffin Island
SCHEDULE The hiking on the tree-less tundra is an absolute must do. Whether we access the hiking locations by snowmobile or via helicopter – the silence and sheer grandioseness of the arctic is something to be discovered and savoured. The feeling of peaceful isolation, where no human stands near you for hundreds of kilometers can only be found in the Arctic. The only people who have walked these mountains are Inuit and their ancestors. Visit old Inuit tent rings and discover Inukshuks – piles of stone that were the tools of navigation and survival for the Inuit that enabled them to mark trails, food caches or good hunting grounds. Best of all, this country is all yours alone to discover.

Amazing Experience
The trip through Sri Lanka was amazing, not only because it’s a beautiful country, but also because Srinath was an excellent tour guide showing us the best sides and giving us interesting insights. He was making sure we were having a wonderful experience and was very attentive to details. I would always choose SerenDestiny Tours again for this amazing ride!
